Walking is not always healthy. Let’s say I walk for a long time and some of my muscles stop working, they get exercised and the signal goes badly through my nerves. Then another group of muscles comes on, but they are weak and untrained and they start to ache too. So now I think it’s important to understand the mechanics of walking, how to relax the muscles after walking, and maybe I need to buy proper sneakers. I’ve been walking just in shoes for years, and I’ve only just realised that it’s probably not the right thing to do. I’ll be curious to explore this topic this week.
