Sometimes, I change my mind about the world and wonder when it might happen again. Recently, I’ve connected a bunch of ideas together. Like how in relationships, money can become a big problem. Or at work, when you ask for more pay but they say to save money instead. It’s strange hearing about hunger in Africa while rich countries live well. And all that spending on war doesn’t make sense…
I realized that these things all come from capitalism. It’s like everything, even our feelings for others and things like science and love, has become something to buy and sell. Now, I keep reminding myself that we’re living under this system, and it helps me see things more clearly.
