I’ve developed a simple yet effective habit that has not only helped me break free from the social media spiral, but has also made me lose interest in it altogether.

For example, whenever I come across the Instagram icon, I pause and ask myself what I would genuinely enjoy doing at that moment that would bring me satisfaction and joy. It could be something as simple as going for a walk, reading a book, or even calling up a friend. By focusing on activities that bring me true fulfillment, I’ve found myself losing interest in social media, and instead, gravitating towards more meaningful pursuits.
