Denchik's life

I’ve developed a simple yet effective habit that has not only helped me break free from the social media spiral, but has also made me lose interest in it altogether.

For example, whenever I come across the Instagram icon, I pause and ask myself what I would genuinely enjoy doing at that moment that would bring me satisfaction and joy. It could be something as simple as going for a walk, reading a book, or even calling up a friend. By focusing on activities that bring me true fulfillment, I’ve found myself losing interest in social media, and instead, gravitating towards more meaningful pursuits.

Don’t feed robots with information

The robots are being fed information that we have no control over, and someone claims to be injecting ethical values into them without our oversight. It is possible that the information being fed to these machines is distorted or manipulated, perhaps with the intent to rewrite history and alter the truth. It is imperative that we exercise caution in this matter. While I do not suggest that we stop providing input to the robots altogether, we must ensure that we have a range of options available to us and that we are able to select the information that we deem appropriate.

The art of linocut has captured my interest and admiration.

As I reflect on computer memory today, I can’t help but think about the costly operation of allocating memory in the C language. The issue with the malloc function is that it requests memory from the operating system each time it’s called, leading to a slower program when many objects are created. However, a more effective approach is to allocate and request memory at the start of the program, which many databases and Java programs do. Unfortunately, some developers in trendy projects, whether in Python, JavaScript, or created Chinese game servers, still rely on dynamic memory allocation, hindering the optimization of processes. My main takeaway from this is that a better understanding of how memory and processes work can help us choose the most efficient tools for our projects, a crucial consideration that many developers fail to recognize.

Due to I possess a natural resistance towards TikTok, I fail to comprehend the excitement surrounding it.
