Не самое главное достижение в жизни, но важное решение. Надо просидеть пять лет в стране, сдать простой экзамен. Было бы круто если я говорил на голландском нормально, я не говорю. Но пускай это будет мостиком для других крутых достижений. Отказ от российского гражданства, вот это будет челендж.

Today I was angry that the fireworks were not delivered at the appointed time. Drove to the shop on my scooter and it was closed. Called them – no answer. Looked at the dates and the delivery date is the 29th and today is the 27th. So I had an exciting emotional morning and am full of energy now.

Yesterday I discussed how to say “kiss me” in Russian. I hadn’t really thought about it. But in general it is a very long, complicated word, which you don’t really want to say many times “Po-ce-lu-i/поцелуй”, doesn’t sound easy. In other languages it sounds simpler and better.

I wear shoes that I fix from time to time. They are indestructible. But after the Portuguese climbs and a downpour the day before yesterday, one of the boots couldn’t take the strain and the sole fell off. I avoided using scotch tape, just peeled off the rest of the sole all the way.
What did I want to say? This week I proposed getting married, went to Portugal, talked to interesting people, saw a lot of beautiful things. But the most amazing thing happened was that the sole on my shoe fell off and I thought it would never happen.

Yesterday there were two choices of sangria on the menu: one liter and one glass. I told the waitress that I would start with one glass and see how it would go. By the end of my meal I was so drunk that I broke the glass. Sweet and delicious sangria is the quickest way to get drunk.
